The Summer Shred Treatment Guide:

Calorie Burn Shots

Our Calorie Burn Shots are a powerful combination of B12 and MIC (Methionine, Inositol, and Choline). By incorporating these shots into your routine, you can expect increased energy levels and enhanced fat metabolism, making it easier to shed those extra pounds. Here’s how they work:

The Calorie Burn Shot by RVIVL

Ice Baths

Cold exposure from ice baths is not only beneficial for reducing inflammation and speeding up muscle recovery, but it also promotes the conversion of white fat to brown fat. Brown fat is more metabolically active than white fat, meaning it burns more calories to produce heat. This process, known as thermogenesis, helps boost your metabolism and aids in weight loss. RVIVL provides true Ice baths, temperatures in the mid 30s, and large enough for you to stretch out or even bring a partner. This temperature level is vital for maximizing thermogenesis. Ice Baths at this temperature produce significant and sustained dopamine boost lasting for hours and even days. Dopamine is the motivation hormone and you may find yourself more motivated to complete other difficult tasks, exercise, and generally build momentum in your life!

Shred Protocol: 3 sessions/week, building towards 11+ minutes/weekly

The RVIVL team is all trained and eager to support you whether your a beginner trying your first ice bath, to a seasoned pro. Everyone can benefit from breathwork guidance, a treatment plan, and an accountability partner. Always optional and always available!


Red Light Therapy

This therapy uses low-level wavelengths of red light to penetrate the skin and promote cellular repair and regeneration. The increase in ADP production reduces inflammation, enhances collagen production, and improves overall skin health, contributing to a more toned and youthful appearance. The circadian rhythm support improves sleep quality vital for realizing maximum gains from your fitness efforts.

Shred Protocol: 3 full body, 10 minute sessions/week

Athlete Red Light Thearpy

Infrared Sauna

Unlike traditional saunas, infrared saunas use infrared light to heat your body directly, resulting in a deeper sweat at lower temperatures. This can help with detoxification, improving circulation, and burning calories. Regular use of an infrared sauna can aid in weight loss by increasing your heart rate and metabolic rate, similar to the effects of moderate exercise. Sauna has been proven again and again to have a dramatic impact on longevity. Additionally, the heat feels great and helps to relax muscles and relieve tension, contributing to overall feeling well-being.

Shred Protocol: 60 minutes/week (1 hour or 2 half hour sessions)

At RVIVL, all of our infrared saunas are within private contrast therapy suites with showers, towels, bath products, and an additional ice bath. We recommend two or three rotations i.e. hot -> cold -> hot -> cold during the course of the hour and ending with the cold plunge, allowing your body to shiver/warm up on it\’s own to maximize thermogenesis.


Compression Boots

These boots apply pressure to the legs, enhancing lymphatic drainage and reducing muscle fatigue. By moving fluid out of the muscles, they promote faster recovery and prepare you for your next workout. Complimentary use of the Normatec Boots are included (outside of studio IV hours) in Summer Shred!
